But, the one of the only reasons to get a next gen console is better graphics, right?
I seriously doubt that it was a mistake not bundling the PS Eye with the PS4, but only time will tell.
And your #1 reason for getting the XBO is brand loyalty? Really?
have had enough humility to change their policies once the (misguided) masses started an outcry. Was it a step backwards for one of the greatest devices made so far? Yes, but it was necessary to calm the paranoid, self righteous, hypocritical, over entitled brats that make the loudest portion of the gaming culture today.
They weren't "misguided", they were people who actually wanted to own their games. And 24 hour checkups are retarded. And no, it wasn't a step backwards for it, rather, a step forward. And we weren't "paranoid," "hypocritical," or "over entitled." We just weren't idiots.

See once again an misleaded idiot see you could loan your games to everyone and no I'm not talking about family share. Your one of the dumbasses that jumped to conclusions before hearing them out it was innovation but I guess some people just can't wrap their heads around it.
-
you could loan your games to everyone and no I'm not talking about family share.
No you couldn't. You had to pay an extra fee for used games, and only 10 people were allowed to be on your "family" list. You're one of the dumbasses who enjoy getting reamed with restrictions and draconian DRM.
-
Ya you could you just went listening apparently they were working on you digitally loaning a game to someone for a set amount of time like a week, a few weeks or a few days
-
That's what the "family sharing" was you moron. The problem with the old policies were: -You didn't own your games -24 hour check in or else you can;t play games -Extra fee for used games It wasn't innovative, it was restrictive.
-
No moron that wasn't family share dipshit.
-
hurr durr Family share is what you were talking about. I'd rather own my games than being told what I can do with them.
-
Alright you win the future sucks and you would rather share your disked based game with your one friend your mom sorry for trying to deprive you of that
-
Alright you win the future sucks
No, what MS tried to do sucked.
share your disked based game with your one friend your mom
Was that supposed to be hurtful? What are you, 12? You must be, as you had to resort to that because I just shut you down in this argument and you had nothing to say.
-
No I thought if I was dealing with one why not stoop down to something you would understand I mean HURRR DURR that doesn't sound like a kid at ALL
-
I only said "hurr durr" because of the amount of stupid seeping from your mouth. You clearly didn't understand any of the old policies as evident by this conversation.
Your one of the dumbasses that jumped to conclusions before hearing them out it was innovation but I guess some people just can't wrap their heads around it.
And you're one of the dumbasses who jump to the conclusion that I jumped to that conclusion. That's not "innovation," that's restrictions. I just wanted to own my games, and be able to play offline anytime I wanted to. But I guess stupid people just can't wrap their heads around that.
-
hunter...why bother man. We live in a world where ted cruz got a 3 min standing ovation for shutting the gov down (costing 24 billion) and voting to throw the united states into default. It's not far fetched that people will attack you for using simple consumer logic.
-
Because, Beta, I have to try! For if we lose hope, we lose everything we believe in.
-
I agree I would want it to be offline but you were apparently miss leaded on the games you do own the game you could loan it to anyone and you could sell it and buy used games
-
But there were restrictions on the used games! And they were telling me that I could only lend it to one friend who was on my friends list for 30 days! That's retarded, and it's not owning my games. The only person here who seems to have been misleads is you.
-
No you only loan it to one person at a time like a disk for up to 30 days which afterwords you could loan it back to him right after.
-
Edited by Hunter: 11/10/2013 3:02:52 PMNo, you could only loan a game to one friend who had been on your friends list for 30 days. There are no fees charged as part of these transfers. There are two requirements: you can only give them to people who have been on your friends list for at least 30 days and each game can only be given once.
And this is the bullshit I was talking about.
-
Forgot they had to be on your friends list for 30 days that was dumb but the general idea of being able to share online is great.
-
Edited by Hunter: 11/10/2013 3:04:12 PMYes, but all of these restrictions didn't justify a little bit of extra convenience.
-
What most people didn't understand is that if they let the disk still be active after you install it since you don't need the disk to play you could give it to all your friends and they could download it for free and play for free thus gaming industry crashing since one copy could go around the whole town.
-
Lol, and do you have a source that can confirm you could do that?
-
Think about it 1 copy goes around the town giving the game to everyone and no one needs to keep the disk in the console to play so in result 60 bucks for one town rather than thousands.
-
And you think about it, these draconian policies were meant to make publishers more money, why would they allow something like this to happen? And unless you have some way to confirm this was true (and I seriously doubt it is true) I can't believe you.
-
Sorry I don't have the link because it was a while ago and I don't see a problem with giving game companies more money considering they would hopefully invest in story lines and gameplay since they have gone down recently.
-
Jeez let's hope you're never in a place to influence someone else's mind and opinions on something, you're drop dead stupid.
