I suppose its nice if you want a console with PC equivalent power, without having to deal with the hassle of building a PC.

Building a PC isn't really a hassle. It's literally like LEGOs, except it's time consuming the first couple times you do it.

yeah, but to your average Joe, it can seem intimidating at first.

I guess. I was the same way. I learned from watching Newegg's how to build a PC videos. Got my PC parts and was able to put it together almost entirely without having to look at the video again.

Edited by iGraviton: 11/4/2013 10:10:18 PMI think more people are afraid of getting a part DOA on their first build. They may have no clue how to isolate the broken part(s). That almost happened to me on my first build, but then I realized I put the RAM in the wrong channels. Oh, what a noob I was...

Edited by TopWargamer: 11/4/2013 10:14:05 PMmy power supply came DOA (and it was a SeaSonic, which was surprising, but shiz happens) and I epicly -blam!-ed up my motherboard when putting it in, because some of the motherboard stand offs were taller than the others. I was able to get both my power supply and motherboard RMA'd and didn't have to spend an extra penny. Just had to wait...for 2 weeks... ;_;
