Part of update No.2
I've been playing guitar for something going on for 11 years and I predominately play Metal. Normally I create my own original compositions however I like to metal up my favourite OST's. The idea would be to re-create the entire OST. So does anyone think it would be a good idea? I'd also be able to give a classical guitar version a try, however since I use a direct line-in with a pre-amp to record my guitar I never invested in a good mic for recording.
Would you want to listen to it? Give me your thoughts.
*Update* So I ran into some issues such as my practice amp dying on me, however I have a new one and I'm about to start working on the pre released segments of the OST. I've also had time to finally catch up on my podcasts and I'm glad you guys support the idea. I'll be sure to give another update when I have some recorded material, which will hopefully be done just before or in the beginning of december.
*Update* After a long time of messing about with metal versions of the already released soundtrack and being too busy with original material among other things, I think it will be best just to wait and see more of the soundtrack. If you want to hear some scraps that I came up with I could put them up but they are only scraps. I didn't want to update until I had something concrete.
*Update No.2* If you're wondering why it's taken me so long to get back ... well learning the above was a reason
Then there were other entirely less exciting things that got in the way. Either way expect it to be coming just not for a while and now that the release is much later in the year I might be waiting a while for more of the soundtrack to see how it's all supposed to go together.

Edited by AdoringCart1343: 2/3/2014 8:59:44 PMIt was hinted at yesterday that the Music of the Spheres might be released very soon. Can't wait to hear what you do with it whenever it may be. Good things take time.

1 ReplyEdited by Booker91z: 11/26/2013 2:20:29 AMI definitely want to listen to Metal versions of Destiny's soundtrack. Now, while you can never go wrong with metal, I wonder if you might have better impact by releasing your versions after we have played the game and listened to the originals. You can't go wrong, the only question is how right it will be.
