Needle Rifle Vs covenant carbine

Carbine's bland, but it's more viable. If the H4 Carbine lost that hideous green scope and gained a faster reload time, I'd say it's about perfect.

I hate them both but at least the carbine hits whatever I am aiming at.

I really hate how the Needle Rifle doesn't have a stock. It looks like a stubby shotgun with a spiky engine block strapped onto it. It looks ridiculous in a game filled with gorgeous weapon design.

2 RepliesOverall my favourite's probably the Needle Rifle. Although it does feel a bit more 'clunky' (for want of a better term), this is mainly due to bloom punishing fast firing even at close ranges, which I found a bit more annoying than with the Reach DMR. But the aesthetics and sound effects for the Needle Rifle are spot on in my opinion, not to mention the incredibly satisfying 'blamite' explosion after 3 needles hit an unshielded opponent! I still love the Covenant Carbine of course, but the NR was one of a kind!

Needle Rifle easily. I felt much more precise with it. Plus explosions.
