Battlefield 4 - Yay or Nay?
Only 2 more days until the release of Battlefield 4 on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms. It releases on Next Gen when the console releases.
A nice, clean and simple poll to see what everyone thinks of Battlefield 4. If you want to say what platform(s) you will be getting it on go ahead :D

BF3 was a letdown after BFBC2. I'll wait to see what more people say about BF4 before I decide whether or not to buy it.

I would wait. It's having lots of issues online currently. Once dice fixes issues it'll be great. I'll have to reset my stats by then too. Such a mess at the moment. If you are lucky to get in a game there is a lot of server lag and crashes. If you can get past that still a bunch of wonky stuff. Some maps the sound doesn't work well, some spawn points when you control them can't be clicked on to spawn at, revives don't seem to work (you'll accept revive and still die lol), and lastly more times than not I'll shoot a guy in the back first and he can turn around and kill me in one shot. It's like MW3 and Black Ops II lag comp all over lol I'm on pc btw.

I would tell you my first-hand experience with the game, but I have a hard drive shipment delayed, so I have to wait until Thursday for it to arrive. I am unable to download the mandatory graphics disk until then :(

1 ReplyI say nay, sir. Battlefield 4 is a modern travesty. It is completely unoriginal, poorly optimized, and just plain bad. Call of Duty, on the other hand, is completely original, runs perfectly smooth no matter what you play it on, and is the king of modern gaming. Call of Duty is an A+ player, and Battlefield doesn't even deserve to be the same sentence as Call of Duty. You're welcome.

2 RepliesNay, BF3 wasn't my cup of tea due to the scaled back destruction and crappy level design compared to BFBC2, and BF4 isn't looking much different, with proper destruction being limited to big scripted set pieces.

I might pick it up for the campaign, but the multiplayer has been sooooo disappointing. I'll give it the benefit of a doubt since it was (hopefully) an early build beta.

3 RepliesUnfortunately it's bf4 or ghost. So ya, bf4 will be my shooter. I just wish it innovated a bit more.. This may be my last bf game before it turns into completely same shit every year. Maybe next year there will be a shooter worth paying 60$ on.

I prefer BFBC2 and always will but my parents are buying it for me for Xmas. I wouldn't waste my money on it so it's nay for me.
