What's wrong with the old generation 3 games? I've been playing through Emerald again and it's as enjoyable as ever.

The ability to transfer from them is outdated and no longer supported. Thats why. We have access to Gen 1 starters (Kalos), Gen 2 starters (Johto), Gen IV starters (Sinnoh), Gen V (Unova) and Gen VI (Kalos), but the only way for us to get Gen III starters is if we beat the entire game on Pokemon Emerald, transfer over to Diamond after you defeat every trainer and obtain the national Dex, then transfer to black and white, then transfer to Y/X, [i]or[/i] beat the entire game of SS/HG, choose [b]one[/b] of the starters from Gen III, transfer to black and white, and then transfer to X and Y. Seems reasonable, right? /sarcasm.

No. My post was directed at your question, not the OP. "What's wrong with the old Generation 3 games?" Basically, the ability to transfer over is all but impossible.
