2 RepliesEdited by dazarobbo: 10/23/2013 11:02:49 PMRegardless of my answer to the poll, I don't like the idea of being expected to pay more than what I've agreed to when I choose my meal from the menu.

most of the time, -blam!- all. Welcome to common sense, errybody!

2 RepliesLol, here the tip is already included in the bill. Why would I tip them more? That's very stupid btw, because even the crappy ones get tips now. If someone is a good waiter, I'm willing to tip up to 20%, but not if they already get 5% from everyone. They have to deserve it.
-
I usually do around 20%, unless it is a cheap place (like dennys or something, in which case Ill tip between 50-200%.
-
A conveniently rounded number around 10-15%
-
I tip less than 10 percent.
-
5 bucks. I do that at my local coffee shops two. (a drink is like three bucks, but I tip five) (But that's cause this local coffee shop is really good, and they deal with some pretty stupid people, so I give them extra)
-
Waiter: 5$ Waitress: 7$ (only because makeup this month is probably skyrocketing because of halloweenie.)
-
I have no idea. I usually leave $5 every time.... average meal is $10-$15
-
If she is extremely sexy I usually give a normal tip, same tip for everyone, I just write my number on the receipt
-
Its not a custom in Britain, but if I go out for a meal, I usually leave a few quid, or if I go out drinking, ill give the barmaid money for a drink or whatever.
-
Usually 20%, but if they are being a complete asshole, I put a dollar in a full glass of water, BOOM!
-
I live in England, where waiting staff actually get paid, and it's usually 10%. Also, flud is full of 10 year olds, who's parents pay when ever they go out for a meal.
-
It depends on their service. If they're a good server 15-20%. If they're bitchy and act like they have better things to be doing, I leave them a dollar. Their face is always hysterical.

Edited by Demigod: 10/25/2013 10:46:54 PMThat depends, did I get a hand job with my lunch special like I ordered?
-
Edited by Braydzz: 10/25/2013 8:01:53 PMI tip based on how good they do and how financially stable I am. On a side note its funny hearing stories based on debit machines and how hard it is to find the "no tip" option. One time my sister actually asked the waiter how to get the no tip option.
-
Normally about 20%. Though, for exceptionally shitty service I've done 5%. Only one got nothing. She deserved it, and everyone in her section did the same.
-
Least 15%. If it's exceptional service than 20% or more depending.
-
Just the tip.

I wonder if anyone here is actually Mr. Pink.
-
I think that the norm is 20%, so that's what I tip.
-
I generally tip more on lower bills. $50 bill I'll generally tip $15 or so. $200 bill usually like $40.
