I'm interested in buying an older Porsche and wanted to see what the general consensus was in this argument. For all that don't know, they are the turboed variants of the 911 from the late 80s and early 90s respectively.
The biggest differences between the two off the top of my head are that the 965 has power steering and a 3.3 or 3.6 liter engine vs the 930s 3.0. Don't know much else with regards to wether they're both twin turboed or if just the 964 is.

3 Replies965 if you're going to drive it more often than on nice weekends. No power steering and no clutch hydraulics make it a bit more unwieldy.

1 Reply967 all the way. The turbofiltration is superior and there's no hyperplatonic gauge between the carbon flanks. Plus the chromatic pistons are made of eridium. Hope I helped.
