LAN party at a friend's house. Couldn't quite grasp the concept of FPS in multiplayer... or the IFF system. lol A buddy let me take his console home for a few weeks to play people online and I got better in a hurry. 16-18 guys crammed into a three-level appartment. Wires and TVs everywhere, shouting just to be heard, being handed the broken controllers no one wanted, using a series of obscene references for names. I actually learned to use the fat controller so no one would take a working controller from me.
