Why is Chief Beifong acting so dumb? The characters are al acting different and Bolin is becoming a tool.

My thoughts exactly. She ignores Mako's obvious advancements in a case because he's just a rookie, and as much as I love Bolin and his comedy, he WAS a character that was more than just comedic relief in the first season he had just as much a story.
