You're probably not going to find a new motherboard for your laptop. Laptop mobos are pretty much sourced directly from the OEM, and I've never heard of them being sold commercially.
And there's no cable between the motherboard and the graphics chipset. You're running an i5 with integrated graphics. The CPU has a GPU built into it. If the GPU didn't work, neither would your CPU, and your laptop wouldn't even boot.
What is most likely damaged is the output cable from the motherboard to the LCD display. That's all that probably needs to be replaced. I don't understand why he want you to replace the entire motherboard, aside from giving you a bigger bill.

But he said it was where you connect the output cable in motherboard. He said that part was damaged. How much does one of those cables cost, just to know?

They're expensive as far as cables go, around [url=http://www.ebay.com/bhp/hp-g6-lcd-cable]20 bucks online.[/url] That said they're way more affordable than new motherboards.

Yeah, but I don´t know if replacing the cable will solve my problem or not. It´s a risk I´d have to take and I´m not really at the liberty to be spending money.
