Wasn't there a title update not to long ago that was doing the same thing.. both of my first gen 360s just crashed RROD, sadly nothing todo with GTA though..
-
Nah i purchased mine back on 07, still working.
-
Nope no problems here, i have the 360 model that was out befor the slim. The big white one.

Edited by TyrantGilchrist: 9/24/2013 5:39:28 AMThis is why I'm glad I moved to slim.

Yeah the cooling system on the old ones were garbage so I'm not surprised. They should probably just open the top of the console up.

2 RepliesEarlier it was causing my H3 Xbox to overheat.

1 ReplyEdited by Vgnut: 9/24/2013 4:19:25 AMTLoU was doing this to older PS3's. The thing to take from this is that the 360 and PS3 simply can't handle the games developers are wanting to make. Developers like Rockstar and Naughty Dog haven't just pushed current gen consoles to their limits, they've broken them.

I had one issue as of my last post. The game restarted during the last heist, saying I had to possibly reinstall the game because of corruption. Luckily it worked after I restarted my Xbox, though. It did keep me in an infinite loop for a little, though, until I did that.

1 ReplyThis is why I was going to get it for the Xbox One.

1 ReplyI've had my xbox360 for about 5 years and I haven't had a problem with the game yet.
-
Sounds like a personal problem... /raises shades to face
-
It freezes my slim model occasionally also. It's a miracle and a work of Satan that they got this game on this gen as is, a few problems are to be expected.
-
The Xbox i had for 6 years is handling well. FPS might go down a nudge for a moment but it's alright
-
Just had my 1st freeze.

-
How old? Because my standard white xbox from 2009 can run it just fine.
-
game appears to crash on older models of the Xbox 360.
There's your problem.
-
My 360 (pre-elite white box) is handling it like a champ.
-
11 RepliesDo I need to bring up Skyrim on the PS3?
-
I have a core system from 2006 and it's running fine. I haven't had any problems, myself. Though admittedly I did just take the thing apart to clear it off over the summer since it had 7 years of dirt inside it.
-
I have a Pro console but I forget which model it exactly is Its been sent in four times though
-
Hasn't happened to me yet. Im playing GTA5 on the day 1 core 360.
-
Sucks for them :l But you know, GTA 5 is literally pushing the old consoles to their utmost limit so it's not really surprising if the older models can't cope very well. I reckon BF4 is going to be worse for freezing/crashing current gen stuff.

3 RepliesI have the oldest xbox and it works perfectly fine so it's clearly not the Xbox's fault, it can handle it. Stop trying to make flame wars, it's all you seem to do on this site and it seems you're on this site 24/7.
