How many 360 controllers have given up on you?

My first Elite controller [ 2009 - 2011 ] - It was badly synced since I got it, the sticks pulled in certain directions in certain games. - It became unusable when the LS started to fall apart, and became jammed. My second controller - another Elite one [ 2010 - 2012 ] - It was badly synced since I got it, the sticks pulled in certain directions in certain games. - It later on started to occasionally not register the LS when it was pulled backwards. - Later on, the LS started to stick in the NE direction. My third controller - the slim's one [ 2011 - 2012 ] - It was badly synced since I got it, the sticks pulled in certain directions in certain games. - It's LS had issues being pressed, since the beginning. - It's LS loosened up. My fourth one - the silver 2011 edition with an adjustable D-pad [ 2012 - 2013 ] - It was badly synced, since the beginning, but only showed the issues while assisted. - It started to badly register the LS' South direction, in a game that I was playing. Fifth controller - the slim's one [ 2012 - ... ] - No noticeable issues, apart from having a squeaky LT. Describe your experience with the 360's controllers.

I have 3 controllers, (two from the Halo: Reach edition Xbox and another wireless controller purchased later) and they're all still working quite decently. One of them has some slight LS press issues, but it's intermittent and still functions. I try to take good care of my controllers, and so far they all seem to be holding up fine.

  • 3 or 4. Most of which lost sensitivity in the thumb sticks and would stop "resetting" to center position, causing a noticeable "drift". My current one is losing sensitivity in the d-pad., throwing off my combos in MK9. Xbox controllers are WONDERFUL in their ergonomics, but they don't really seem to be built to last... and even when the d-pad is at it's best it's deplorable.

  • 2. One of them I threw at a wall and the other one the headphone jack stopped working.

you had four controllers that were "badly synced"??? since you first got it? Is that when the sticks hang off to one side when you dont touch them? Maybe youre doing something wrong to your sticks. OT: I have 3 x360 controllers and only one of them has a slightly ripped rubber on the left stick. All of them however have cheap aftermarket play n charge batteries that die after 5 minutes.

  • None. I've worn out the thumbsticks on most of them and the wireless one I use at friends' houses is worn smooth, but I haven't broken any.

  • My left bumper wears out really quickly , I've lost 2 controllers that way(that's what I get for using bumper jumper). My right stick on one of them is messed up, so my character will randomly start spinning around to the right.

  • Ive had one controller for years. The only problems I have with it, is that even the slightest tap will make it turn off, so I have to be delicate with it.

  • None. I've had 3 wired controllers throughout my time having a 360 (since day 1) The first 2, I wore out the thumbsticks but they still work. And the 3rd one I got about 15 months ago and it still works perfect.

  • I got a modded controller to pound little kids. Best choice ever. Autumn camo was good enough but the fact that i got it for 60 dollars was good enough. Still is my preffered controller

Just one, it had really bad slow turn and the bumpers were sticking and stuff. The one I'm using now has been working good for the past few years.

  • Well that's what happens when you use it a lot lol. A quick dismantling and cleaning would fix most of those problems.

  • I have 6 controllers, and all of them have analog sticks that lean slightly left or right. It gets irritating in FPS games.

  • Zero. The sticks on the original one are a bit worn in, but my other two are fine. The hell do you people do to them? I still have working N64 controllers! About half have worn out thumbsticks, but that's all.

  • I have a couple of "Party" controllers that are for when I have people over and we play Madden, NCAA, Mount Your Friends, etc. Then I have MY black wireless controller that only I am allowed to use. That being said, I've had 1 broken controller over my 7+ years of my 360.
