Ok, so the Xbox One can snap 2 different apps at once, and has a live TV HDMI input. Now I know this isn't as much of a popular feature as MS would like, but a recent quote from a Microsoft employee has thrown up a few new possibilities:
"Any application can be snapped to a game, This could be the live Tv feed, so if you wanted to be playing Ryse and Killzone at the same time , you could snap that"
Albert Penello, Microsoft
So this got me thinking ; could you in theory play any HDMI console through the One? if so then what could this be used for, side by side game comparisons, Splitscreen Speedruns on 2 single player games but on one screen? it does throw up a long list of new features. It could even mean the Xbox One could be used to record PS3/4 gameplay, as currently the HDMI is protected on those systems.
So what do you think of this? I personally will be plugging my 360 into the One to overcome cross gen backwards compatibility, if that is possible. But I'd like to see what others think of this.

PS4 now supports cap cards, just not at launch.
