A Day with Playstation (how Sony wins Nextgen)
This trailer has: Deep Down, Vita, Vita remote PS4 play (from anywhere with Wi-Fi!), Vita TV playing PSN titles and watching movies, PS4 streaming and share buttons. Basically, just the interactions between PS products and the users.
Sony has really stepped up since the PS3 days. Especially in the marketing department. Now I just need to find me some more attractive friends and I'll be set.

Actually Microsoft wins, because I trust them to make a better online then what I could get on the PS4, Sony also wins, if you want their console.

4 RepliesI think it's kinda funny that they're pulling out this very japanese-sided ad when The PS4 doesn't release in Japan until late February. But the video really doesn't show anything that impressive over the competition other than the Vita streaming. Microsoft is also offering video recording and sharing, streaming through Twitch, and bluray playback. Even then, the Vita playback isn't really a selling point unless you already own a Vita, and the streaming service for it won't even be up and going until some point in 2014 in the US, and an unspecified time in Europe. It's a good ad, and it shows some of the cool stuff available on Sony's side this gen, but it doesn't at all win Sony this generation in the console wars. Not by a longshot.

Though I have a hard time believing that Japan would host a huge Killzone tournament... They're not big on shooters or western games in general.

Dedicated Servers, Cloud Processing, Smart match, Multitasking OS, smart glass let's you set online matches while you're playing another game on Xbox One. None of what I mentioned is happening on the PS4, and while not all of these features are important to everyone, I think you'll be hard pressed to not be swayed by at least two of these features. Not trying to start anything Seventh column but Xbox One is the superior system here.

2 RepliesCorrect me if I'm wrong but PS4 remote play is only over LOCAL WiFi. While these features are cool, in order to get the full suite of features I'd be spending close to $1,000. That's a massive pay wall in my opinion. Just the PS4 is enough for me.

There's a chance the screen can get smashed because there's no case. And there's the chance the screen or the protector can get scratched because there's no case.
