I think that judges should do their jobs and view the law within the context of the situation. There is not any abuse going on, they are within a range of maturity that the relationship is on equal footing, there's nothing wrong with this.

There is nothing wrong with a 18 year old doing the dirty with a 14 year old? If it was a 18 yr old dude he'd be thrown into jail faster than you'd say pedophile.

I commented without reading because I had read this before, I had the ages wrong. Even so, they were 14 and 17 when they were first together, it isn't necessarily a relationship in which one person is far more immature than the other. Age doesn't matter so much in this instance if they're both mature enough.

Yeah, they'd convict him right away even if the 14 year old admitted to be willing to sleep with him they'd still arrest him.
