What's up with the "guy nod?"
Why do all guys do it? Is it just something wired into our brains like fapping?
I find myself doing it to other guys as a sign of acknowledgement without even thinking, then they do it back.

Males show encouragement or dominance by pulling their heads up. To show respect or approval males put their heads down to show the other male did something alpha.

I speak pretty quietly, so nodding is usually my go-to.

Nodding up= hey. I believe it originated in elementary school when you couldnt talk in the hall so you just nodded. Then nodding as thank you or just a sign of respect we are just to lazy to say thank you I guess.
