Me likes! A balancing program would be needed to avoid the creation of OP weaponry.
Ideas and posts like this makes me believe the forum hasn't been lost to the trolls yet

Absolutely! There would have to be one heck of a balancing system! And this is just one mechanic for creating a weapon! I would love to take part in a Bungie brainstorm; I bet the room was aglow when they wrangled the system they are using for Destiny into submission! I appreciate your compliments :)
