Put yourself in this scenario:
20 years from now, you Mr. Floodian have lived a happy, successful life with a beautiful wife and kids. One day your 17 year old son, who occasionally is a troublemaker, but is really a good hearted kid, comes home crying.
He tells you he was driving drunk, and that he hit a women and her child. He killed them. He confides in you that he is scared out of his mind and he doesn't know what to do. You realise your son is a killer
Would you turn him in and try to face the victim's family?
Or would you help him cover it up / escape the country / get away?
-
I'd tell him that a man has to own up for his mistakes. There's no excuse for what he did when it came to ending two people life. Frankly I'd be severly disappointed at myself and him.
