They both are one and the same. The issue is that people fail to realize that religion is a part of the experiment called life. We have the ability to question everything even what we can't see and there is a ton the scientific method can prove but then again it also can't disprove a ton either. I have made more sense about God when I think in terms of "God the Scientist" than "God the all powerful deity" and I'm extremely spiritual not necessarily religious. Faith is a tool in this experiment not a falsehood to be dismissed because it doesn't fit our "scientific method". The universe is way bigger than our tiny minds can comprehend but we will get there with a little time and....faith.

  •
but then again it also can't disprove a ton either.
Because that's not how it works. There's no positive proof for a negative. There's no evidence something doesn't exist/happen.

  • Your not making sense. You may need to look up the full definition of scientific method.

  • This is what was linked in the OP. When you get to the "Test with an experiment" step, such a hypothesis fails this. There is no test or evidence that something doesn't exist. There's only tests and evidence that prove things do exist.

  • You still don't make sense. Tests prove and or disprove things/ideas all the time. Are you telling me that you've never been surprised by what an experiment with pre measured and calculable results yielded an unknown. This is just an argument about things we do not have all the variables to. So your right faith based religion does not fit with your mind set. Be like water my friend.

Well at least I'm not the only one trying to think this through. Very savvy analysis, BTW.
