In halo 4, my jaw dropped when I ran out of the cave and saw those forunner structures in requiem. Easily halo 4, but the other games looked good as well.

Halo 4/Halo Wars easily. In Halo 4 it just looks so towering and magnificent, and in Wars, while it doesn't have the same effect, it's probably the most varied instance of Forerunner architecture in the series.

2 RepliesHalo 3, it looked like it has stood the test of time, old but still strong. In those screens of Halo 4 it looks like they have pulled it from mass effect, with the shiny finish and that god awful Bioware lighting, glad I never got Halo 4.

1 ReplyHalo 4. Christ, it's just [i]gorgeous[/i]. The throwbacks to Halo CE's architecture is present at times while exploring Warrior-Servant architecture more deeply as it's able to completely reshape itself into different configurations. I'd definitely have to say 4, but CEA comes in a close second ([url=http://www.halopedia.org/images/0/0b/AnniversaryControlRoom.png]the Control Room alone[/url] gives it that spot).

2 Replieshalo wars had a good concept for the forerunner, i think halo 4 tried too hard in some places and the designs clashed.

5 RepliesI like Halo 3 the most. It was a natural progression and update from CE's design, and I liked the simple, sturdy look of it. The brighter, more "active" design 343 created isn't bad, but I'm not much of a fan of the extra Scifi elements seeping into Halo. I liked Bungie's representation best. These can be compared to the artifact under Sword Base and the 343-made DLC.

Being on a Halo ring has always made me pause and admire the ring itself, when I'm on one I always just stop and look up at the skybox, admiring the rings beauty. Halo 3 had my favorite environments and architecture on the ring and arc so it's my choice.

Halo 4 easily, just look at all the Forerunner structures and tech in that game, the planet itself is Forerunner made.

You know. Interestingly I picked Halo 2. Don't get me wrong all if them had amazing architecture, but Halo 2's forerunner architecture was much different between the other games. I don't know why, but I really liked it.

Halo 3 or Halo 4. While I love Halo CE pioneering it, it was just simply marvelous with Halo 3 and especially with Halo 4. 343 truly out did themselves with their Forerunner architecture, especially on the level Requiem.
