How are Sony exclusives better for 'real gamers'?
Knack, puzzle and racing exclusives are geared towards hardcore gamers? The only Sony exclusive I would be interested in is Deep Down and Outlast/Daylight. I'm interested as to what exclusives appeal most to PS4 buyers.

They are not. It's just a marketing campaign to make the PS4 seem different than the Xbox One since Microsoft added the other media stuff in. They're playing off of each others differences, when in reality both consoles do just about the same thing for games.

To be completely honest, neither console has a line-up of launch titles that really appeal to me... Unless something amazing comes down the pipe, I'll be fine with exploring the upgrades to the LIVE Marketplace after the launch.

Im interested in PS4 because of Killzone: Shadow Fall, Infamous Second Son, and other upcoming exclusives including titles like Media Molecule and Naughty Dog's next console game. X1 exclusives just for the most part don't interest me enough to buy the console. TitanFall looks cool but eh, its an FPS whose competitive nature I can replace with PS4 exclusives and multiplatforms. Killer Instinct looks fun but its a fighter and there will be fighters still going multiplatform. Halo? Meh everything after Halo 3 has disappointed me. I don't know who said Sony exclusives are better for 'real gamers' but everyone has their own tastes. We are all gamers and like to enjoy games. How about we stop being fans of corporations and instead be fans of games and get what pertains to our gaming tastes.

They aren't... I prefer the Xbox One exclusives but they're all Microsoft exclusives and timed exclusives but, oh, I don't care! I don't own a gaming PC and I want the best console to play it on so I guess it's another reasons in the jar of pieces of paper with reasons written on it for why to buy an Xbox One for me! So yeah Xbox One exclusives / Microsoft exclusives / timed exclusives subjectively better on the Xbox One / gaming PC / Xbox 360 / Steam Box than on the PS4 / Wii U / Ouya / Other

I think what people are getting at with Song exclusives is the traverse between movies and games at points with their heavily featured cut-scenes and such.

27 RepliesPS4 and PlayStation in general has more Variety of Games. Knack a Platformer, Infamous an Open World SuperHero Game, Killzone a new kind of shooter. Driveclub- a new take on Online Racing Games. PlayStation will always have more Variety for the Gamer.
