How long would it take the United States to conquer the United Kingdom?

3 RepliesI really hope the US and UK never have to fight again. I love the UK, they have been long time allies with us. But it's common knowledge the US has military like none other on earth. I see like two people constantly spamming about the SAS, which just another special forces group. Actually the Seals have the hardest training than any military force on earth. It's a pretty morbid topic, but an easy question. I really hope no one here actually takes pride in the fact that their nation could inflict mass genocide, but the US has the numbers, intelligence, and technology. We aren't taking about retarded stereotypes of the civilian populace, we are taking about military power. The US is earths superpower as a single military force. Deal with it...

36 RepliesEven before we got over there, they'd sink our ships or take down our planes. And we'd also have the other European countries to deal with- they'd aide Britain in a second. If we really wanted a war to win, we'd take out Canada or Mexico.

I mean this is an interesting topic and all, but being able to win the war would mean nothing considering the fact that practically no one in the UK would want the U.S there, meaning we probably wouldn't hold (or want to hold onto it) for long.

U.S wins in a month to a year tops. They have the quality. They have the quantity. They have the ability, even if cut off to sustain the war effort. If you try to put allies into the mix, Canada would never dare attack the U.S alone if it joined in. china or Russia would never get in the war either, China has a rising economy, but can't even feed it's people. Russia won't try to attack the U.S anytime soon. The U.S has Japan and SK, blocking the west from any country besides Australia, which has such a strong relationship with the U.S either won't join the war at all, or would help the U.S (And if it tried attacking the U.S, the ADF is too weak and small to even try attacking.) This basically leaves South america to worry about, (Bunch of pitiful weak countries.) and Canada (Possible large enemy attack coming from Canada.) All you have to do is invade Canada, and then just push east. The U.S's navy is strong enough to completely demolish any opposing force's army.

If it was just the United Kingdom, U.S would have it in a day, maybe so. In small regions, surprise attacks can't really be countered until it's too late.
