Warframe Coming to XB1?
It looks like since the Policy change some indie developers are bringing their games to the XB1.
Edit: Ok this has been confirmed to only be a timed exclusive

3 RepliesGet a PlayStation if you really want it bad. Or a PC for that matter. It might be like Titanfall where they expand the game's fan-base to other consoles later on, but I don't think it's too likely since the XB1 has trouble running even COD Ghosts on 1080p and Warframe runs on 1080p.

2 RepliesHere's my main problem with Warframe at the moment (and I know it's a public beta): there's not that much to do. I've spent 35 hours on this game and the majority of that time was spent resource collecting on the same washed out green/blue/gray/orange maps with the same repetitive enemies. They claim to have a story behind it, but they don't delve that much into why the Tenno went away or were chosen to be awoken at this particular moment. Warframe's public beta then reminded me of both Minecraft and ME3, in that it's continuous and the devs are hard at work to make sure that this game doesn't crash on Day 1, but the fact that it's pretty damn similar to ME3 means that it doesn't have that sense of uniqueness that ME3 did.

5 Replies.. Ok, it was announced soo effing long ago that its coming out 3 months after ps4 launch. Seriously, no one here knows anything! P.s I know this was mad awhile ago but some people here still don't know.

I would assume they would get it on XB1, it's more revenue in the end. And from what Microsoft kept going on about with the OS, it shouldn't be too hard to port it to the console.

I hope it comes out for the Xbox just for the sake of increasing the player base. I currently play on PC and I'm swapping to PS4 at launch. I've noticed that many people say it's a grind but I disagree. It has a grindy element to it but you unlock stuff quickly. I've played less than 24 hrs in-game and I already have 3 frames, 10 weapons, over 150 mods, and many unused blueprints. The game has a way of making the resources you need to build things feel like a reward for playing rather than a reason. It's kinda hard to explain, but to each his own.

I think that if you want to get an expert opinion on the game, get it from someone whose played it for +250 hours or so, just so they can thoroughly explain what made them want to play the game for so long and what made it fun. Take me for example, 260 hours of Warframe, Mastery 6, and I still think it's pretty fun because of the continuous updates and events that go on. Although there are some difficulties trying to get better equipment but if you actually try and be dedicated, it comes out pretty nice. But my thought on Warframe coming out to XB1, well if it does, then great, if it doesn't, then it wouldn't make much of a difference would it?

Its great MS has changed their policies. But another thing is to be considered. Developer relations. Many devs are very enthusiastic about the change while others are hesitant. I mean their policy change came only a few days after Lorne Lanning came out criticizing how MS doesn't care about indie devs.

Yeah, as far as I know, the only reason it was going PS4 only is because Sony asked them and you can self publish on PS4. Sony also sent them free devkits. But now that X1 changed, it's possible.
