How will I convince my parents to buy me an Xbox One?
Since I'm going to school in a month, would it be a good idea to mow lawns for $20 each lawn in order to get enough for the Xbox One, launch titles, and accessories such as a headset? Because I don't know if the kinect mic will be shit or not.

Don't stop at just mowing, a lot of people pay big money for jobs like weeding and basic landscaping because a lot of professional businesses with charge much more for what any kid can do.
