Most overrated game series of all-time
In no actual order, here they are:
Fable
Sonic the Hedgehog
Kingdom Hearts
Metal Gear Solid
Assassin's Creed
Call of Duty
And yes, GTA, considering each addition in the series is mostly a graphical update and its sales are fueled by sex, racism, shock value, and violence.

Does anyone realize that if we put all of the posts in this thread together into one post; that every game ever made is over-hyped to the point of being a Vegas stage show? Opinions blow, IMO. If someone doesn't personally like a game, it's over-hyped. If it's not made to their personal specifications, it's over-hyped. None of us should ever play another game ever made. Ever again. For any reason. After all, we wouldn't want to be accused of being on the hype-train and therefore not a "True Gamer"...

1 ReplyAssassin's Creed Mortal Kombat While I really dislike Fable, I don't see how it's overrated. Whenever it's mentioned it always seems to be about how badly the series went downhill and how particularly bad 3 is. Similar story with Call of Duty.

Call of Duty - Same thing every year -_- Minecraft - I can't stand the game and I don't play it anymore. I literally fall asleep everytime I played it with my friends.

Assassin's Creed (Easily the most boring and repetitive pile of trash ever) Kingdom Hearts GTA (While decent it isn't [i]that[/i] amazing) Ass Defect Elder Scrolls (Series has always been decent-good and then started declining with Oblivion and somehow got even more popular with the worst one being rimjob)
