I know in old Bnet you could find it on their profile, but are we going to have to ask the person up front for it this time?

unless they have it set to their real gamertag then you'll have to ask. mine is what it says.

Currently the only way to see linked profile names is through the Bungie Mobile app. A user must have their links set as "marked as public" through their link settings. For Playstation and Microsoft accounts, it will show their gamertag/handle. For Facebook and Google+, it will show the users real name that they have connected to their account. (The other way is messaging the user for that information)

You can actually see PSN IDs and Gamertags on the mobile app if you go to their profile. I can see my PSN ID on my profile.

Edited by EZ: 7/27/2013 9:35:57 PMSome people have it as their Unique ID or Display name, but if they change it it could be under one of their Aliases maybe. Other then that, there isn't really to much of a way to check it, unless they have a game history, but even then they could have changed it since then.... So asking may be the best way to find out right now. Hope that helps! :) Bungie.net Information Desk |Bungie.net FAQ|
