What are the map sizes?
I recall someone saying how large the maps are going to be. Can someone give me a link to an article or a quote reguarding the map(s) sizes?

The maps are loaded in 2km square sections, for example an area could be 5x5km so approximately 6 of those 2x2km sections.

On average they were talking about having the areas approximately 2/3 the size of the entire reach campaign. Granted the key word here is average. There will most likely be some smaller, but also some that are bigger.

6 RepliesThe biggest maps are 2 square kilometers according to the lastest Destiny article in EDGE magazine. The articles in its entirety is posted on the forum in PDF. Its a great read, with lots of information on Destiny and features. Go read it.
