Lol. All 3 of those Guardians have no visors at all... Yet because Bungie is making them they're fantastic.
Go Destiny and Halo 5!

3 RepliesEdited by Logfish111: 10/19/2013 1:50:42 PMBungie started it with the lolGungnir helmet anyway. At least none of the H4 helmets can top the ugliness of that.

Ironically enough, they all have visor materials instead of no visor at all. The hunter has 3 visor slits over the eyes, the main one being the middle feed. The warlock's visor is black... How can you miss it? The Titan's visor is kind of like a version of the EVA if it had been made out of the one-way material used for the glass on the bases of snowbound.

Who said that?

Maybe their helmets are see through from the inside and have the hud display for the guardian to see. Or maybe if you've seen Titanfall it works like that. The display is shown from some sort of camera located on the outside of the helmet. Plenty of explanations. Also in the moon trailer the hunter has a visor. Re watch it. No visor =/= no visibility.

Go Destiny !
Not Halo 5!
Edited by TigerTitan: 12/21/2013 6:08:03 PMThose three guardians might not even be human. They wouldn't need a huge open visor if they're exo guardians.

4 RepliesEdited by We are Geth: 7/27/2013 1:02:00 AMThe difference of course being that some of the helmets in Halo 4 look like someone who decided to swallow 700 sour warheads.

I think they sort of have visors. Look at the little red slit on the front of their helmets. Obviously they don't look through it normally. They must have some sort of device that hooks up to their eyes through the helmets. Idek, that's just me.

Good point.

3 RepliesAll the helmets in Halo 4 are ugly as sin.

Let it begin

1 ReplyIt was never the visors I complained about personally. It was the god awful gear any combatant would rather die than wear. Our Spartan II to III era armour was practical and functional. Now it seems like it goes like this. Stylish! Non-Practical! Functional

9 RepliesTwo different games. One a long running series that people have come to expect a certain look from its armor design. The other a new IP.
-
They don't look good in Halo 4.

Halo Spartans are supposed to have visors. Destiny used space magic so it's cannon.
-blam!- u bungie always wins
-
Visorless helmets are badass. It makes the character look scary.
-
1 ReplyI've never seen someone say that, because that doesn't even make sense. I've seen and agreed with people who say Halo 4 is ugly though. I don't like the lack of visors in Destiny, but it's the gameplay that makes the game, not the graphics or the style.
-
1 ReplyThese character designs are also completely different than the Spartans from Halo. So, there's that...
-
But this is destiny, not halo Are you a fgt?
-
Well.. Scanner, CIO, Vanguard are among my favourites.

5 RepliesI never disliked Halo's lolArmor for it's visors or lack of. I have been brutally critical of the design as a whole. Halol 4's armor sets have Helmets that make your Spartan look like he/she is a mongoloid. The Armor really doesn't cover much of anything vital. You see more of the environmental suit underneath (which is not bulletproof) than you see Mjolnir Armor. Thusly does the armor look like a metal bikini and thong. Finally, the visual design of the armor is just ugly. The helmets more specifically would have no actual tactical use, and in fact would be a hindrance in actual combat just because of the weird angles and lines. It would interfere with movement and balance to the point that the Spartans would be moving around as if drunk. So no, I haven't been ripping Halol 4 and 3fail3's designs while similarly praising Destiny for the same things. I'm eviscerating 3fail3 for a shitty design of the armor in the game that is their sole reason for existing. Destiny's Armor on the other hand, looks as if it could be taken right out of the game and worn by today's beloved military personnel. It's dimension's are ratio'd correctly to the human body, and nothing in the armor Bungie designed has any unnecessary angles, curves, or protrusions that would hamper movement. It also covers all of the necessary squishy spots on the body (you know... the vital organs). Lastly, comparing the quality of Halol 4 to what we've seen of Destiny is the equivalent of comparing Superman64 to Skyrim. There's no competition and one clearly is better than the other.

some of these in halo 4 look pretty ugly trought.
