Dear B.net forum,
I would like to formally apologize for introducing the totally rad and awesome idea of customizing your character with animal ears. I now realize that this forum is, in fact, full of mature adults. I have also come to realize that this forum in no way supports community generated content/ideas. I will quietly cry to myself about not being able to proudly strut with my nekomimi.
Thank you,
Voidn

BTW if that girl pulls the trigger of that Gun she wont be able to See nor to Move her arm for quite a while ..
-
If they are optional, then sure. Then the people that want them can use them and the people that do not want them do not have to use them.
-
Don't apologize! I would find it funny if bungie did implement such feline hearing aids. =D
-
I uh...i thought that would be kinda cool dude. Other peeps just arent as supportive.
-
If it's just a helmet like Halo 4's wolf (Raider) and unicorn (FOTUS) helmets where it fits into the game, I think it's fine.
-
Forget about ears.....I'm totally for tails; like a cat tail. MEOW?
-
Is that the awperhand? Tf2 joke.
-
You deserve no forgiveness.

Edited by Charlemagne: 9/1/2013 12:47:34 AMHere's the thing, cat ears don't fit into Destiny. Let me explain why. If people had actual cat ears in Destiny they would be a different species. Take Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn for example. There are characters with cat ears and a tail, but they aren't Human (or whatever Humans are called in that game). There are (as of yet) only three confirmed character races in Destiny. Bungie doesn't even call them species because they are most likely different kinds of Humans that were changed by magic or technology. To have cat ears they would have to introduce an entirely new species into Destiny's universe and that could, and probably would, ruin much of the established story and lore (if you need to me clarify this point I will, but it should be pretty obvious). What about fake cat ears? Those wouldn't make any sense. You wouldn't be able to wear them under your helmet and having them on it would just make you a target. You have to remember that the Guardians aren't cheery adventurers. They are beaten down soldiers who are doing what they have to to keep Humanity alive. They are the people who've banded together to defend and fight for those who can't. Cat ears aren't a priority nor even a desire for these kinds of people. It would be a waste for resources to make fake ones and it wouldn't be practical. As far as I know, we aren't civilians in this game. We're Guardians, Be brave and ad astra.

Apology accepted.
-
I understand where you're coming from - but - not to dim your hopes, it will be immensely unlikely cat ears will be implemented given the type of direction and theme this game is going for
-
But, but cat ears...I wanted them...
-
Cat ears FTW! (just 'cause, you know, cat ears)
-
I accept your apology.
-
People do not like my idea of cat ears either... My character in Phantasy Star Online 2 has cat ears that do not take away from the gameplay or story at all, so I fail to see how it would be any different in Destiny.
-
I don't see why not have some cat ears. But Bungie is a serious company, they won't implement all the stuff people want. They need to make sure that anything they do put in will not lose them customers or make the game crap. And sadly most people don't like cat eared guardians.
I have also come to realize that this forum in no way supports community generated content/ideas.
Wrong. Just because you came up with an overwhelmingly unpopular idea does not mean that this forum in no way supports community generated content/ideas. You need to face reality. Sidenote RE: furries: I respect your right to dress up as a high school mascot and get together with your friends and am glad that furries have a community of like-minded people to hang out with, but you have to expect some people to be put off by it. Because it's going to happen. A lot. And life is too short to be outraged everytime it happens. Just be comfortable in your own skin and understand that what other people think about you is none of your business.

So what if this guy wants to wear cat ears?
-
Freak
-
You made it worse
-
But alas, many do not understand our need to wear fuzzy ears. I often feel as if it would be more natural for my real life body to have cat-like ears
Ugh..WTF mate?
-
Begone, furfag

-
Who would've guessed that Cat Ears would have the power to troll Trolls.
