For me they're tied. I think the story and universe of Fallout is more interesting but Elder Scrolls has better gameplay.
What about you?
And no poll because they kill threads

1 ReplyAm I the only one that could not get into skyrim I just thought it was boring but fallout on the other hand I can play for hour on end.
-
Fallout. I'm more of a Sci-Fi guy.
-
1 ReplyElder Scrolls has better lore. Elder Scrolls has better story. Elder Scrolls has better enemies. Elder Scrolls gets its own MMO. Elder Scrolls is simply better. They're only tied on game freezing -_-
-
1 ReplyElder Scrolls is better. Much better.

FALLOUT FALLOUT FALLOUT FALLOUT FALLOUT FALLOUT!!!! nuff' said.

11 RepliesEdited by Inyaccurate: 7/23/2013 7:45:30 PMThe real question here is, who would win in a fight? The Courier vs. The Dragonborn.

Talk about...
necrobumping
I like booth but prefer fallout
-
Both very good titles by a very good developer but I have to say fallout FTW!!
-
I like them both. Done.
-
Agree, Elder Scrolls has better gameplay and I enjoy the world more
-
I just like Post Apocalyptic / Scifi more than fantasy, so it's a pretty easy choice for me.
-
Including Elder Scrolls Online, Elder Scrolls is better. In a battle, Fallout would win.
-
1 Replyfallout has a better story/ setting, while Elder scrolls has more lore and content i wish they would combine the two to make a game as big as skyrim with the setting of fallout
-
FALLOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love firearms and the setting of post apocalyptic America is wonderful, the Lonesome road DLC really shone through, Ulysses was amazing. Also I love trotting the wastes with Elite Riot Armor, All American, And an Anti-Material with explosive rounds for when it get hairy, or to deal death at a distance.

6 RepliesEdited by Geth: 7/22/2013 7:44:11 PMPlayed both. Skyrim pulled me within the first 10 minutes of gameplay. Fallout was pretty boring to me. Elder Scrolls has had way more games then the Fallout series. So I think they've got that series down perfectly. Constant stories that link from game to game. It's amazing.

2 RepliesEdited by Citrus raptor: 7/22/2013 11:49:23 PMI like both fictions, but not all games within them. Falout 3 for instance, I did not like; prefered them top down. Didn't like Skyrim either, was bored by the design, story, culure, and focus on dragons. I must be among the few who can't stand Dragons... And vikings, did it really have to have vikings? I know Nords are a part of the Elder Scrolls, but they could have been a bit more creative? They feel like its weakest link. Morrowind does however, with its combination of design, music, story, way of handling objects, ability to fly, and some other things, climb right up on my top 10 list of favourite games. Oblivion was pretty good too, especially after Shivering Isles. Daedra > Dragons.

Fallout 3 > TESIV: Oblivion, IMO. Skyrim is on a different engine, so I don't think it'd be fair to compare it to Fallout until we get a Fallout game on the Creation Engine.
-
3 RepliesThey are totally different settings, they may share the same open-world exploration, but they can't really be compared.
-
Elder Scroll. The lore is the main reason I love Elder Scrolls. I just hate Fallout. I don't know why I just hate it.
-
3 RepliesFallout (particularly 3) is a great game and comes in a close second to Skyrim/Oblivion for the best games of this generation.
-
8 RepliesTES is better, but honestly I have always preferred to use guns in games just because it is more interesting/challenging/ect.. Hence why I prefer Fallout.
-
TES. Fallout bores the hell out of me. So. Much. Brown.
-
Elder Scrolls was always really boring for me. Fallout actually has a few interesting characters.
