anybody think that New Halo trailer was weak as -blam!-
Cause that shit made me so disappointed the cloak? Really i cant it gets me to angry its so typical now

2 RepliesIt's just strange. I've kinda given up on there being consistency in Halo. 343 has pretty much made halo feel like a much more, for lack of a better term, "stereotypical" Sci-Fi game. It's kinda' disappointing, IMO.

I think it was awesome. However it was just a teaser and we probably won't get any details at all till almost E3 next year. What matters is what the game will be... but as a teaser I think it was one of the better ones compared to the Reach and Halo 4 teaser.

10 RepliesIt's a teaser. The Battlefront teaser at E3 did even less. Just snow, scraps, then we see a snowspeeder and AT-AT for a brief instant, then it goes to title. The only thing it's supposed to do is get your attention that "Hey, we've got a game coming out that you might want to know about."

343 said he was wearing the cloak to "Mask his identity." Though, I feel being in the middle of the desert alone is going to be seen as reasonably suspicious to any adversary on the lookout for one person.

5 RepliesIt had a sense of pacing the previous trailers never had, barring Halo 3's teaser, speaking to the loneliness of the character and the dire situation he's in. And the cloak has been explained numerous times: he's in hiding.

It was the first Halo trailer I was not excited about and that made me feel broken. To me it seemed like an imitation of the Halo 3 teaser trailer but that trailer's one of my favorites. And i feel the cloak was just unnecessary.

Not me. The metaphor for Chief's journey was excellent. The way he's trying to hide himself, but in the end is forced out due to a new threat- that was fantastic.
