• I would have agreed with you if you said Gays. I would have agreed with you if you said Trans. I would have agreed with you if you said Atheists. I would have agreed with you if you said any other group besides them. We got a African American running this country, and they're the ones that are the most oppressed? Elaborate.

Trust me, all of those groups are oppressed too. Here's a few charts that lead me to believe blacks are the most oppressed. These were posted on Thinkprogress, but none of the facts are from Thinkprogress. • Ever stopped to think that maybe all those are happening because they happen to do more crimes? Call me racist all you want, but when the only year whites have done more crime was 2011, it's hard to believe black people as a whole are benevolent angels. Also, voter restriction laws are regulated by the state, I can't speak for how things are done in any state other than Florida, but I see people complain about having to have ID at voter registration, yet here in Florida NO ONE bitches about it.

  •
Also, the GOP is constantly trying to suppress their votes in a few states.
That's not a race thing that's a voter thing, as most black people (like 97%) voted Obama.

  • So since they voted Obama it's OK to try and suppress their votes? Is that what you're saying.

  • If that's what you got from that then you're an idiot. What I'm saying is that it's not a racial thing, more of a voter thing to stop the other side of winning. Never said it was ok.

Whoa man, I was just asking you to clarify. Your post sounded kind of like you were justifying voter suppression which is why I asked you if that was what you meant.

Some Republicans have openly admitted they're trying to suppress black votes. No wonder Obama got 97% of the black vote. http://www.salon.com/2012/07/27/fla_republican_we_suppressed_black_votes/ http://www.care2.com/causes/ohio-republican-admits-party-trying-to-disenfranchise-blacks.html No wonder they're trying to pass Voter ID laws that would disenfranchise millions of black votes, all in the name of stopping voter fraud. I think the total number of voting fraud cases was under 100, I don't remember the exact number. http://www.politicususa.com/2011/04/20/gop-voter-id-minorities.html
