I know hunters can wear capes and I wasn't sure about Titians or Warlocks. If this has been already asked or answered I apologize for asking about a topic already answered.

Titian can wear robes, apparently. And hats. Warlock just wears lots of Aqua Net and distressed denim. -
2 RepliesI'm pretty sure 'Titians' isn't a thing...

2 RepliesThe Warlock that we saw in the E3 demo (and elsewhere) was wearing a Titan's band on his arm, so not all class-specific armor pieces are class-restricted. At least, not in that stage of the game. Whether this means that any class can wear any armor, I don't know.
-
I hope so! I wanna be a cape wearing Warlock!
-
I thought Titans and Warlocks can wear robes
-
3 RepliesMaybe all classes can wear any armor they find, but only the ones made for your class will give you the bonuses you need. Your titan could wear some robes, but they will not give him the buffs a nice suit of armor will. Same as a hunter would be slowed down by a suit of armor.

Titans can wear a shoulder cape/ pauldron but I don't think warlocks can.

Bungie is set on making you character as customizable as possible, yet still be able to clearly define whether you're a Warlock, a Hunter or a Titan. I think there will always be the option of some sort of cape, just realize that it has to fit in the general theme of the class. And a very mysterious cape doesn't fit a 100% with a brute force, tank of a Titan. That why I think. Expect loads of customizations, but realize these 3 classes are different, and will most probably look that way. Be brave

1 ReplyButt Cape = Best Cape

Edited by FarawayPaper: 11/23/2013 7:39:37 PMNo. Its a design choice so that you may always be able to tell who is what class. Titans are mostly armor, with minimal cloth. And the swept back helmet is how you would recognize them otherwise. Hunters are 50% armor, 50% cloth, with their signature hood and cape. Warlocks are mostly cloth, with minimal armor. They have the trench coat and helmet combination.
-
As far as I have seen it in the gameplay videos and artworks, only the hunter class seems to capes. The Titans have fur- collars and loincloths and the Warlocks have 'trenchcoats' or robes.

I have a cape

7 RepliesTitans have butt capes and Warlocks have no capes.

if i had to guess no, it seems that bungie has put each class on an aesthetic path that they seems to follow no matter what armor they wear, it helps identify people in battle. im sure bungie will make armors for all classes that resemble another class so you can have a hunteresque titan or warlock and vice versa
-
i think so

Pretty sure the hunter capes give hunters special abilities based on the cloaks, maybe a piece of armor for each class that gives an ability, but I don't know as of now, not sure if I missed something
-
5 RepliesI think you can wear whatever you want this is post apocalyptic America afterall
-
4 RepliesNo, as each class was designed with a distinctive look to differentiate it from the others. Hunters - Medium armour with a cape Warlocks - Light armour with a trench coat Titans - Heavy armour with a waist-level cape
-
4 RepliesHunters: Hooded cloaks Titans: Waist cloth Warlocks: Robes

There is very clear distinction in the class designs. Unfortunately this doesn't mean that the type of gear will be specifically tailored towards your class. By the looks of things straight from your item loot. (E.g. as a hunter the items you pick up will be for your class) Hunters have capes and that's the design style, but it doesn't mean that you can get some very cool items for your other classes.

Im hoping despite the fact they have showed them all being pretty different, in the end they may all where similar attire. Personally I prefer a cloak over a trench coat so im hoping what I stated is somewhat true.
-
3 RepliesPretty sure Warlocks get the long jacket look so maybe they get full capes. As for Titans, we get the coveted Butt Cape.
-
Titans= buttcapes

1 ReplyProbably not, the class silhouettes will become extremely important in competitive PvP. It's essential you can recognise instantly the type of foe (and potential toolset) you're engaging.
