Ask a Person who Just Watched Both Pacific Rim and Sharknado Anything Related to Those two Movies

Let me start with a few compulsory ones. Q: Was Pacific Rim good? A: Yes. It was absolutely incredible. Q: Was Sharknado bad? A: Yes. It was absolutely terrible. And it was all the better for it. Q: What was your favorite part of Pacific Rim? A: Most probably either the Hong Kong battle or the final battle. There's a specific scene in the Hong Kong battle that is absolutely fracking bada$$ however.
Oh, and the part where a certain character gets revenge had the entire audience clapping.
Q: What was your favorite part of Sharknado? A: I honestly can't remember anything about it. There was one part where a man used a chainsaw to slice a falling shark in half longitudinally, and it had me and my girlfriend in stitches. Q: Was there anything bad about either movie? A: Honestly, I really cannot find a major flaw in Pacific Rim. I just can't. It's a simple premise with likable characters and massive set pieces, and that's exactly what it wants itself to be. It's perfect. Sharknado was equally flawless. Q: How does Pacific Rim stack up to Man of Steel? A: Brace yourselves. It exceeds it. I said it. Pacific Rim is better than Man of Steel, in my honest opinion. It's not that Man of Steel was bad by any means, I still love the movie and it has some of my favorite individual scenes of any movie ever. But that's the thing. Whereas Man of Steel is better at capturing the moment, Pacific Rim is far better at giving off an overall atmosphere. And this largely has to do with the pacing (the only major thing I disliked in Man of Steel). Never in Pacific Rim did I think to myself that "well the action's a bit too much here" or "this scene was just abrupt" like I did at times in Man of Steel. So yes. I like Pacific Rim more than Man of Steel. Q: How would you rate Pacific Rim among the other blockbusters of today? A: Into Darkness: 8.6/10 Man of Steel: 8.8/10 Pacific Rim: 9/10 Iron Man 3: 5/10 Sharknado: 10/10 Jurassic Park: Still a motherf*cking 11/10 because nothing will ever exceed it. Okay Flood, ask away if you wish. I really, really hope this movie does well. I bloody loved it, and I hope Gareth Edwards takes some notes (BECAUSE IF HE FAILS I WILL USE HIS NERVES AS ROPES) on how to do Kaiju battles. And then amps it up, because I want to see Godzilla beat the living sh1t out of everything he sees.
