Ok, bare with me here, I'm not a very intelligent person. But I've just finished watching the first series of Clannad. The last episode really confused me, is that just an alternative ending or something? And The episode before that one, does it just end there, with them going for a walk? And I know this is probably metaphorical but I can't seem to relate that dream world place with the actual story. I'm going to watch the second series now, I hope it ties up some loose ends.

The last episode of Clannad ends with Tomoya asking Nagisa to be his girlfriend. Are you sure you're watching the right season?

Haha yeah it's a "bonus" episode that has nothing to do with the actual story. More of a "what if" type episode.

The only thing that I found pretty sad so far is [spoiler]The woman can't see her ghost sister.[/spoiler] Does it get proper intense?

I went in watching completely clueless too. It seems more like a slice of life than anything at first. If you want the absolute best, unspoiled experience, don't look into it any further. Just finish watching Clannad and be sure to watch Clannad: After Story(which is a second season). As I said, to avoid spoilers don't look into ANYTHING. Just watch the show, then search for After Story when finished. You're in for some srs sh*t.
