If halo was rated M then destiny will be. There is 0 gore in halo games.

Do you know what gore is? Ever played dead space? Its basically guts, dismemberment, etc. it is not present in Halo games whatsoever. The language isn't that bad at all, you hear Johnson say bitch and bastard a few times and that's it. The blood is barely present at all either, unless you repeatedly shoot a dead body. The ESRB overrates everything, which is my point, which you just helped prove.

I feel like you're overlooking the simple fact that you are basically a one-man genocide in Halo, fighting against mutant space zombies and suicidal fanatic aliens..

And my whole point is that if halo, which isn't that violent compared to some games, is rated M, then destiny will certainly be as well. Considering were still killing aliens...
