Anyone else missing their original account right now?
And I know I am not the only one. I first signed into B.net to keep taps on the Halo 2 build up.
My first account died because there was a screw up on Microsoft's end back in the old sign in system (Microsoft Passport). Second one was deleted for inactivity, as I recall. I do remember being assured by the web team it was not recoverable.
I guess what I am really saying is...colors / years listed aren't always indicative of how long someone has been around the site.

Edited by Downserj: 7/3/2013 7:16:33 PMI created my account late '03 or early '04 I believe. I didn't have an email address at the time and it gave me the option to create an @microsoft.com email. So I did, and one day I forgot my password and couldn't log in. I tried to recover password but the @microsoft.com address wasn't actually tied to a real email account and I couldn't access it to reset anything. The account went inactive and I didn't want to use a new name. I had my brother send a message under his name for me. Not sure if that helped it, but a while after it was inactive I got to create my account again with my same name. I tried once a week for months hoping it would become available, lol. But it reset my tenure. At the time I was just happy to keep my name. I went back and found old posts that I made, but it said "deleted account" or something. :( [b]Oh well, I am happy that I will get to experience Destiny with my 7 year status tho.[/b] Just miss that lost 2 years.
