So last month the revamped PS+ turned one year old. And in that year for a mere 50 dollars you got over $1000 worth of games, ranging from PS3 to PSP to Vita. 64 titles in all. And that's just one of the benefits of the service, you also get further store discounts, backup game saves, beta accesses, free themes and avatars and more. and people absolutely love it, 96% customer satisfaction.
How can someone possibly say XBL is better? What did you get for paying 60 bucks in that time? Party chat? Dashboard ads? I mean if you love xbox that's fine but why lie to yourselves? Continuing to pay for an inferior product only hurts you as the consumer. Why put up with XBL when the competition is clearly doing more to appeal to gamers?

1 ReplyPS+ will not be what it is now when the new system comes out. You're getting free games right now when you're not having to pay to play online. Once PS+ transitions from a luxury to a necessity for online gaming, Sony is going to cut back on what they're offering their customers (mark my words).

Oh god another console war...
-
1 ReplyPeople on these boards actually argued IN FAVOR of MS's DRM policies, yet you wonder why they can't see the value in psn+?
-
1 ReplyBecause... not including the PS4 which comes out at the end of the year. Party Chat. Not even kidding, party chat is awesome. Being able to talk with friends while not playing the same game is a godsend for social gaming.

Because despite the better subscription bonuses, Xbox LIVE is an all around better network than PSN?
-
To be fair, I don't want a service that shits on anything. That's just disgusting.
-
8 RepliesXBL has better exclusives and it doesn't get hacked. Plus, a lot of the games that are being offered on PSN for free are games people don't want to play.
-
PC + Steam > PS+ > XboxLive. That is all.
-
As long as you keep the service and get the free games every month. Xbox allows me to keep my free game forever as long as I purchase it. I can re-download everything anytime I want gold member, non gold member, whenever.

2 words......party. chat. I win
-
How can we not see that? Because we aren't on crack. We aren't seeing things that aren't reality true. Unlike you, we are smart and know a hell of a lot more than you playstation fanbitches.

PSN is pretty cool until you try to actually play games online.

If you spent some time with both xbl and psn, youd know XBL is better. XBL is just a higher quality service than PSN. PS+ tries to sweeten the deal by adding a bunch of old (some crappy) games for free, but in reality, if you didnt already own these games you werent really going to play them anyway. Theres currently no reason to pay for PS+ other then get a bunch of old games which you could buy individually anyway for roughly the same price. And that 96% customer satisfaction thing.... made up stat of the year.

Edited by pawncrackers: 7/1/2013 2:40:00 AMOf the few experiences I've had with PS3, I much prefer XBL. Party/video chat, custom soundtracks, seamless online and matchmaking services were an instant sell, and arrived WAY before today's competition - who are still playing catchup, IMO. A percentage of the moneys made from Gold membership goes straight back into maintenance and security - I've never complained, and never will. News of Sony's various security breaches and firmware hacks over the years have put me off. Hopefully, the introduction of PS+ fees will generate some decent revenue, which will be put back in. Sony NEED to establish a more secure service for me to buy their product.

It's got better service not once in the years I've had XBL have I lost service yet on PSN I lost it a couple of times. Don't try to trash Xbox they are both good deal with it my god.
-
96% of customers were satisfied when their personal information was hacked? LOL, yeah I'm sure they were really satisfied with Sony.
-
We get the exclusive titles people actually want to play.

2 RepliesOkay I saw every game that became free and if you were on add all those games at there current prices at stores right now it would not make $1000. And another thing the reason why XBL was better is because you payed the money to get a secure playing XBL never got hack because they had the money from people paying for patches and updates to the Xbox software that PS couldn't do because people didn't pay so they weren't as secure so they got hacked. And the only reason why you get free games for PS is because they needed a reason to get money off the side now sense there both making you pay if Sony keeps giving out free games then Xbox mite start doing that to hell they have they gave halo 3 and fable 3 to us for free and that's so far just the beginning so now there becoming about even. And I'm happy PS is now making you pay it will make it were they can do more because they have the money to and keep getting money.

Because neither have intestinal tracts, nor can either digest food and shit out the remains.

7 RepliesOh wow a bunch of 4 year old games no one plays...your so kind Sony. Fail!
-
2 RepliesAs a satisfied member of both PS+ and XBL, I can say that PS+ does NOT shit on XBL, but XBL users seem to shit on PS+; and undeservedly so.
-
5 RepliesXBL never got hacked for 2 months making online play impossible. That's all I need to stay with XBL.

Idiots.
