Woman gets life in prison for cutting ex husband's penis off

Not what my punishment would've been, but I suppose it'll do. It's the best this justice system could manage, anyway.

~7 years for genital mutilation? Sounds like she's getting off easy. And to clarify genital mutilation is much worse than -blam!-. -blam!- usually doesn't cause any permanent physical damage and the emotional burden is probably the same or not as bad as living your life knowing your penis was gone, plus the trauma from the event.
