Some of us have noticed there are plenty of young players getting exited about this game.
It's all good, But as we all know most us don't want to deal with immature messages, sometimes rude behavior, or even leaving in the middle of the raid without explaining or warning "its my dinner time I have to leave, player has been disconnected"
There are some MMO games that have implemented adult servers so why not Destiny it wouldn't hurt anyone.

2 RepliesImmaturity isn't age restricted. I'd rather play with a respectful 12 year old than a 30 year old spouting profanity non-stop and going into detail about your mother and what he's done with her. Also the younger kids don't spam channels with how cool they are for playing while high/drunk. No one cares or wants to know aside from the other players who do the same.
It's all good, But as we all know most us don't want to deal with immature messages, sometimes rude behavior, or even leaving in the middle of the raid without explaining or warning "its my dinner time I have to leave, player has been disconnected"
I've known adults to do this more than younger people. More often than not, younger people either inhale their food or grab it and come back and eat by the computer/console.

3 RepliesIm offended. When our parents say that dinner is ready there's nothing we can do about that (unless it's a trap just to set up the table). And Destiny is not an MMO. But, those 10 year-old kids are the ones who are very annyoing most of the time, so therefore I do think that an impemented server for older gamers would be a good idea. (Also, immature is a word boring people use to describe fun people)
-
Don't play with with kids or just mute them for god's sake...
-
I think you should lower your idea of an Adult to at least 20. I'm 21, and an Adult, I have bills, a job, and a family to take care of, I pay taxes. So 25 and Up Adult Servers? No.
-
Well, I'm only 16, but I would like to address that maybe not all kids and teens are ignorant douche bags, I know I will play maturely the entire time, I'll have fun, but I won't douche out.

5 RepliesEdited by RANMAN10: 6/27/2013 7:48:31 PMI'm only 16, so I'm not here to answer your question, but to propose an idea because I face the same problem. I think that it'd be cool if whenever you start matchmaking, it asks you something like,"How are you feeling?" Having options like 'Rowdy,' 'Chill,' or 'Silent.' This would differentiate between the moods/types of gamers. If you make a group and don't mind younger gamers that are still chill, please. Let me know. Loll.
-
Lol, this again.
-
1 ReplyMute option is your best friend Or just play with people who fit your gaming criteria
-
Get a fire team assembled by using these forums. A majority of the Destiny forumers are sensible (just avoid The Flood community, now known as OffTopic). And also don't have a superiority complex about being an "adult gamer," last time I checked the average age of a gamer is in the range of late 20s to early 30s.
-
6 RepliesThe game isn't going to be played on servers so this isn't possible. None of Bungie's games have been on servers, they've all been using a pee-peer (xbox-xbox) network.
-
2 RepliesFair enough mate but i think its a little harsh to label youth as being immature, don't get me wrong some are but not all, I'm 17 and i would say I'm as mature as the average 25-30 year old! Granted though, I'm not looking forward to 12 year old whining little shitbags.
-
Best bet join/make mature fire team/guild/clan.
-
How about deal with it
-
I don't really see why I should be excluded because of my age. Rather than having separate servers based on age, why not have a system where you can block or mute someone that you don't want to play with? There are plenty of under 25 people that are mature. And I know, there are even more that are completely immature, but we at least deserve a chance. I don't want be excluded from playing Destiny with some cool people just because I'm 17.
-
2 RepliesThis isn't a MMO, so please just do some research before you post...please?
-
Lol I'm 17 I know for a fact that I can be more mature than some of you adults. Just play with each other or mute the kids. They aren't going to stop me from enjoying this game.
-
11 RepliesI will make it my duty as a 12 year old to go to these servers if implemented and annoy you all
-
2 RepliesThis gives older players an unfair advantage in server selection. The only way this would be fair is if there were 25+ and 24- servers lol and even then how could you enforce the rules when it is so easy to lie about your age?
-
They are shit if they do that to annoy us. That means their not mature enough to play and be civilized.
-
1 ReplyThis is more interesting than it sounds. I'm coming in from left field for this new thing. (Assuming I do at all) If I'm giving everything over to other people, what keeps them there ?
-
9 RepliesEdited by mannagement: 6/27/2013 10:34:36 PMIm 11, and I know, I heard you. I'm okay with this post, but EA really -Blam!-ed it up for me. Some of my fav. games I can't even play online. I hope they don't implement this. And the amount of people I know who are 7-10 make their age 30... Trust me, this won't help. I always tell the person that I'm leaving, and believe me, I eat fast. Don't hate me, if you mean to.
-
What people are forgetting is that Destiny doesn't work like a traditional MMO or online multiplayer. To my knowledge you'll only be able to hear those in your fire team - those being your friends, whom I take it are (to your opinion) civil and mature individuals. Even if you do encounter other players, I don't think they'll be much trouble given the fact that you can simply ignore them all together.
-
It wouldn't hurt anyone as long as they aren't the ones being excluded.
-
that's why it would be better on pc, more mature community and less idiots to go around :D
