micro-transaction
i been reading up on the micro transaction and bungie havent said yes or no to the idea. In the mail sack there was not a definitive answer.
do you think they will be in the game ? and will they be good or bad ?

Its a free MMO style game. There is no doubt to be some micro-transactions in there somewhere. Sounds a little too good to be true otherwise.

I wouldn't mind micro transactions so that Bungie can get a little bit more money for their awesome universe, but only as long as it doesn't become a pay-to-win system, that would just ruin it all.

Well, PS4 is getting exclusive content, so that may be an example of some of the stuff certain people would get for free, but then have to pay for other things. I don't mind microtransactions for gun skins, cosmetic things like that, I mean they have to keep the game afloat somehow, but I wouldn't like it if you could buy full sets of armour and be at an advantage. Stuff like that should only be found in game.

I would be totally okay with a marketplace as long as the items for sale were only cosmetic.

I know Bungie was kind of ambiguous in the Mail Sack but what they did say reassured me a little bit. It sounds like there will be micro transactions in a minor form, but they'll probably be aesthetic. I'm hoping that any gear you can buy for your Guardian with real money will be only available through purchase and will not exist as loot in the game. That way, whenever you see someone with that gear you know they didn't earn it through the game.
