Was Transformers Dark of the Moon really that bad?
Because ever since i saw it in theaters that year or two ago i can't honestly remember exactly when i did see it, i haven't seen it on television anywhere else. Not on HBO's movie channels, not Showtime's, or on anything like Spike or FX. The movie was shown in theaters than just dropped off the face of the planet, Transformers 1 & 2 are still shown, but not the third.
What happened to it?

1 ReplyI saw it in 3D. Went in expecting the plot to be average and the action to be spectacular. Wasn't disappointed. Better than 2, worse than one. The last action sequence goes for like 90 minutes lol

3 RepliesWatching Transformers for the coherent plot and deep meaningful storylines is like watching an inconvenient truth for the fight scenes. I enjoyed the films, and I think they get a bit too much hate for being popcorn films when people should never have expected anything more. Robots, Explosions and lots more explosions. My only problem with the 3rd film was the title sounding idiotic.

3 RepliesIt was pretty terrible. I didn't hate it as much as Revenge but it was still pretty bad. The first one is the only decent one and worth watching IMO.

It just wasn't awesome. Usually the third movie is the closer. It has the most epic battles, the most dramatic story, the most shocking plot twists. DotM tried to do that, but it fell short. It just seemed....meh.

Transformers movies receive too much crap IMO. They're fun movies, although I think the first was mostly great all-around.

It was better than Revenge of the Fallen by a longshot but not as good as the first. Btw, I cannot believe how much of a sissy they made Starscream in Dark of the Moon.

The only movie of that series that i truly liked was the first one. The second one was good but i cant say the same about the 3rd one. There were a few plot holes, and they never explained what happened to Sams old girl friend and how he got the new one. Also, the plot terrible, and over all it just wasn't as exciting as the other two.

Yeah it was. It basically felt like a 2 hour long firework show. After a while you just sit there staring blankly at all this gratuitous CGI.
