Daily Mail, I know, but the story is no less credible.
Private schoolboy, 16, shot himself dead with gun he was given as a birthday present after parents discovered his sexting shame
Charlie Booth was found dead by his parents at home in Cobham, Kent
Hours earlier, police spoke to him after girl complained about sex texts
He 'seemed withdrawn' then his mother told him off and took his phone
Half an later, parents heard a loud bang and found him dead in bedroom
Charlie was shooting champion and cadet at £10k-a-year Gad's Hill School
Police say he was 'totally responsible and trusted by people to handle a gun'

Ban private schools.

One less perverted little shit in the world.
-
14 RepliesI'm sorry, his overreaction is actually unfortunately hilarious. But a serious question, he is 16 - why does he need a shotgun? What possessed his parents to buy their son a shotgun for his birthday?
-
1 ReplyA combination of bad parenting and a retarded teenager. I honestly don't see why this is newsworthy.
-
Just another dumbass kid being a dumbass kid.
-
Poor kid. Bit of a silly thing to do.
-
3 RepliesPoor kid. If he was so ashamed of sexting he could've just stopped doing it and not kill himself.

Edited by brandorobot: 6/19/2013 1:42:18 AMHAHAHAHAHA what a little pussy!!!!! /sarcasm I'm not an immature prick like 90% of the people in this thread.
-
He was ashamed.
-
2 RepliesI'm also disgusted at some of the responses you people have. How is someone taking their life funny? If you kill yourself, I'll be laughing over your grave.
-
We must ban America. Sexting? Invented in America. His dad took him to get advice where? KFC. Where was he planning to go? Alaska. I'll bet the shotgun was American too.
-
I can slightly understand what he was feeling. When my parents first caught me looking at pronz, I felt really terrible and really withdrawn. But I can't imagine how it could be so terrible that he decided to kill himself. That's very sad.

Ban private school boys

Read this, sad story. /input
Half an later
Wow, that's a long time.

Obviously the only sensible response to such a tragedy is to restrict access to firearms. oh wait....
-
2 RepliesWith stuff like this, it's best to wait until the full story comes out. A few years ago, there was a kid who appeared to have killed himself after his parents took some kind of electronic device away from him. Everyone on 4chan lol'd at it, turned it into a meme, and proceeded to blast his and his families facebook page. It turned out that he was being sexually molested by a family member routinely, and the device being taken away right before the suicide was happenstance. Just preventing some "I didn't know"s now by pointing out that you don't in fact know all the details.
-
He definitely had some mental issues. It's sad that people oversimplify things so much.

5 Replies>Mother took phone away >Commits suicide Totally not an overreaction.
-
4 RepliesThat is an overreaction if i've ever seen one. Also what parents confiscate a phone as a punishment but are perfectly happy to leave a shotgun with ammunition with the child?
-
3 RepliesHaha! Stupid little shit!

Half an later
Hmmmm

3 Replies-blam!-ing idiot, Darwinism at work thinning the flock

And the moral of the story is, don't send dirty text messages and they won't come back and bite you in the ass. I bet the mum feels like shit though, having told her kid off and taken the phone away then *Bang*
-
So what? Another weak-minded idiot killed themselves.
