Is There any Way To Get The Banshee In Halo 3 Campaign?!
I love the banshee.
Im not a noob I just love the Banshee. For driving and design.
Please tell me if you know how to get one in campaign, since the always fly away before you hijack them!

yes on the covanent level there is 1 banshee that is really stupid it flys into the building with the skull on it i have done it b4

How in god's name do you hijack one of those

yea I've done it on the cove you get out on a little cliff they swing but shooting you and then bam kick them out and its yours and you get out of cove jsut i like i did.

on the covenant, my friend was flying a hornet, and i hopped on top of it. we flew next to a banshee and i jumped onto it and hijacked. it is possible, but very hard

yea, u can do it any time u see a banshee, but it's easiest with a sniper rifle... shoot the guy inside the banshee and then watch it fall to the ground =D it's tough shot but i've pulled it off a few times

on "The Ark" it is possible to "get" the banshee that the arbiter uses in solo mode but you can't fly it. on "The Covenant" it is possible to kill the brute and leave the banshee not destroied. just it might fall into the water there at the begining. if you try for it in the scarab battle though, your set.

yes there is a way to get a banshee, but it gets irritating trying it, go to the covenant mission, and kill all the enemies in your path, until you can't get any closer to the banshees flying around at the end of the beachhead, then eventually a few come to nose dive at you, and you can succeed in grabbing (but is annoying, managed to do it only once) =)

I've gotten one on covenant easily, just get out of the hornet, and after awhile a banshee will fly low and you can hijack

Covenent. When you first get on hornets (when you go to johnson's tower) Fly to the top of that tower and stay there. A banshee will eventually fly by and continue to fly by. you have to Time it just right to hijack it. Hope I helped you.

On the mission, The Covenant, there is a way to easily kick a Brute out of a passing Banshee and go for a joyride. After you hop into the Hornet and fly off, there should be one of those rock formations that you can land on. There should be a couple Banshees flying around nearby. Just land the Hornet, stand on top of it, and wait until the Banshees start flying towards you. It should be a relatively easy matter to steal one from there.

No, I don't think so. I mean, if you could manage to, on the covenant, get in a hornet, fly above one, jump out and land on it to hijack, then yes, but otherwise I think we're out of luck.
