Did he realize that he was handling a gun and should make sure that the gun is clear? And who the heck leaves an AK just hanging around the house?

America! F**k yeah!

And yet, I'm sure we wont have a national discussion about responsible gun ownership.

Edited by Section Ratio General: 6/6/2013 12:01:14 AMOnly in Texas: Where it's perfectly fine to shoot someone and charges will not be filed. Edit: I still don't understand how no charges were filed. It's involuntary manslaughter.

3 RepliesI thought those were illegal.

1 ReplyEdited by Enlightened One: 6/5/2013 11:13:25 PMHe should be charged.. Why was the gun pointed in a direction anywhere near where it could have hit someone? This is coming from a Pro-Second Amendment guy. If you don't know when or when not your weapon is loaded, your dumb or being dumb.. peroid. At the very least, his AK and ammo should be confisicated.

1 ReplyMaybe there wouldn't be so many accidental gun deaths if more people were properly educated on gun use. Hmm, just a thought.

1 ReplyEdited by Recon Number 54: 6/5/2013 11:14:57 PMTragic? Yes. Happens too often? Yes. Unintentional? Yes. Accidental? No. It's not an accident if someone is intentionally using a firearm in an unsafe, dangerous or improper way.

1 ReplyNo charges, case closed. Sounds about right for Texas...

Ban birthdays

I guess you can say she....
Got her Birthday Shot.
5 RepliesI'm not even surprised anymore. You know what let's pass a law just after I move to Canada and have every member of the NRA stand in a straight line, raise one of their pistols, and shoot that person in the head. Save some time. They'll end up killing each other accidentally anyway.

>clearing your weapon with a magazine inserted >pulling the trigger to "safe" your weapon >lack of muzzle awareness/discipline Shame that she died because her brother's an idiot.

Officials said the case is considered closed and no charges will be filed.
As usual. I don't understand how the second amendment entitles us to unlimited child endangerment or criminal negligence with guns, but I guess it does.

1 ReplyWhy didn't this guy make sure the gun was empty?! And why did he have the gun pointing in the girl's direction when he was trying to clear it? This moron has no clue what gun safety is apparently. Its a sad thing what happened to that girl though. :(
