I'll most likely end up playing Destiny alone or with a close friend of mine for my first time through.
However after that, I'll be up for helping people out.
To keep it simple, over half my characters in Dark Souls are dedicated to co op for helping people get past certain areas and bosses. I just love helping out where it's needed.

It's actually not that bad once you get used to the combat and the community on it is really nice as well, always thanking you for your helping, offering help or apologizing if they mess up during a boss run :)
