I actually like the leaf. I think it looks good and is a decent car. The thing that turns me off to electric cars is price and range. They're more expensive then cars of similar size. Plus the range on cars such as the leaf isn't very good, and recharge times too. I know cars like the model s have better ranges, but they're still expensive. I have nothing against the electric car, I just think the tech needs to be improved before I think about getting one.

sorry for double post But whats the range on the leaf? or the prius? My car (gas powered) currently gets 300 miles to a tank, I assume electric cars do the same? I know tesla does.

The leaf is about 75 miles. Thats what it says on the Nissan site.

Wow are you serious? What a waste of money. Why would they even bother selling that thing. Ok lets rule out the Leaf. Lets go to toyota prius then.

If you lived in a congested city such as London where your commute isn't long then I could see it work. It's made for city driving and that's it.

did you watch the video I posted last time of the car who Drag Races his electric car and it takes him 10 mintues to recharge each time?

No I didn't but I know some cars recharge faster like the model s, but I was referring more to the leaf.
