• -Stay Behind Minions -Don't chase after kills unless you can get them without dying yourself -Don't tower dive until you know how to not die -Don't chase Singed -Lanes with fewer players in them level faster -Prepare to be flamed by people, even at low levels, because people can't comprehend that new players exist -Like someone here said, save up for someone you like the look of, I personally bought Kha'Zix As soon as I could because I thought he looked badass, and he's now my most played champion, as well as my best. -Play bot games until your ground legs and then play some PvP once you at least know what you're doing, the learning curve is pretty steep but once you get it, you get it. -there is a LOT of ingame lingo and it can be a lot to take in at first. SS, CC, MIA, AP, AD, ADC, Junglers and things like that which you will pick up over time. But good luck, and hopefully you enjoy it, because with a group of friends you really can have good fun playing it.

 • Thanks guys :) Rolling with Jayce at the moment, going to try and save up for him. GOt 4 kills with him in my first game using him. Had a go with Soraka, but got squished a lot. Only played 2 Coop games so far, not planning on venturing into pvp just yet, because I'm well aware that the community in this game stinks ;) Name's Adept invention, EUW. Add up :)

 • Find a group of people that you know and enjoy playing with and stick with them for a while, whether it be friends online or offline. It's a lot more fun to learn the ropes when you have people that will help you learn when you make a mistake rather than cuss you out.

 • Personally, I would not suggest getting any of the low cost champions. Save straight up for someone good, like Brand or something, while using free champs. And the only tip I can give, since I'm not a huge LoL player, is try and not die. At all.

 • Add me. Hylebosai. Maybe we could play sometime. I'd be happy to play some bot games with you until you figure out what you're doing. You might want to look at what champs are free this week, try playing ones that look cool, it's a weekly cycle of 10 champs.

 • Well once you download it, I would recommend installing it if you intend to play it. :P In all seriousness though, it's a game where you should expect lots of judging by "pro" players. It all revolves around this "meta" which you will pick up soon if you get into playing it. I personally had to stop playing because I got sick of all the BS you get from other players just for trying to play in a way that is enjoyable to you. The only time I play anymore is LAN games with friends, I refuse to play with other people. Call me whatever names you please, but I simply do not enjoy playing online so I feel no reason to put myself in a position that will only end with me being frustrated and wanting to throw my computer across the room. This isn't to say this game isn't fun, it certainly can be. But be prepared for a barrage of "pro tips" if you start playing. As with any game, it is subjective how you see it. I know many people who highly enjoy LoL, but I also know many who despise it. In the end though, it's up to whether or not you enjoy it. :)
