why is it a problem?
Why is what a problem? I see no problem. Mainly because I choose to not take part in those discussions.
Now if you want your gaming forum to remain a gaming forum, stay out of the offtopic area.
Or I'll just use my hide/mute/report options to customize my own experience, as I've been doing.
If you want to talk about other subjects in the offtopic, yet you are impulsively drawn towards ranting at "ignorant people" then you can just mute those threads and the people who post them.
Absolutely, which was my original point. What was the problem again? Make sure you're actually addressing a problem and not the symptoms of a problem.

What I mean by "problem" is the complaining and whining and raging.

Edited by Spawn: 5/5/2013 2:49:57 AMI don't see it as a problem as I choose to ignore the noise. Why not just use your own advice and move on?
Posted by: Progo yet you are impulsively drawn towards ranting at "ignorant people" then you can just mute those threads and the people who post them.
My point is: there is no problem. There are those that choose to give in and those that don't. Users can create all the unnecessary noise that they want, I'm not a part of that audience. I've left the room a long time ago, which is why the problem is non-existant to me.

Edited by Progo: 5/6/2013 1:18:20 PMI would mute them, except in my case I want to find out what the fuss is, why would people rant in other forums about something in the Flood? Sadly the answer will most likely be that people iz stoopid.
